This Distance Certification Package ensures that all those who are Phil Ackland Certified have received the same consistent level of training. This Training consists of basic NFPA #96, as well as other practical knowledge. Completion of this Training provides Certified Crew Leaders with the knowledge and understanding of their responsibilities when cleaning kitchen exhaust systems. This provides the AHJ with a recognizable "benchmark."

HOW DOES THIS WORK?

Crew Leader Certification procedure is as follows:

• Mail/fax/email your Distance Course Order Form and payment.
• We ship you a Distance Course Package.
• When you get your package, print all the relevant documents from the CD.
• Read through the Cleaning and Certification Manual and watch the New Worker and Crew Leader Videos.
• Fill in the Workbook and mail/fax it to us with your Application Forms.
• The Workbook is marked (80% required to pass). If you got a passing score on the Workbook, you will be given instructions on how to take the Exam.
• Take the Exam online.
• The participants will be notified immediately after the exam as to their score (80% required to pass) and once all documents and paperwork has been confirmed, a certificate will be mailed.
• Certification is for three years from the date you passed the test.
